A story i created, hope you guys will enjoy reading it(:
I was raise up by my beautiful single mum, whom never fail to shower me with her love and care.
I was a strong and energetic teenage girl, sacrificing my life getting beaten up crucially to defend my
family, friends and esspecially my mum from tragics of getting beaten up by men. I never cried for a guy
ever in my life, i know that it is all a waste of time showing them the tears when they dont even care. And
i have always said "There is no point crying for someone that doesnt want you no more". Until one day that
i realise, it is not always right to hold back the tears, esspecially for someone you really care for. Im Evyyana
Isabella, i am 18 and this is my story~
It was a cold morning, my clock tiks 6 and there goes the alarm. I jumped out of bed and as always did
my normal routine before i head to school. Im living a few meters away from school, its pathetic, but somehow
im feeling pretty lucky that mummy bought a house near to school, it was breezing outside.
Looking at those couples going to school together gets me up to the point of being envy. Yes ive got dates.
But i dont think they are the right ones. Why did i say so? I got dumb by them for doing nothing they hate.
I guess my bad in this thing call love. I decided to get a best friend instead, and there is is standing at the
School gate waiting for me before we attend our class. He is a tall chraming blue crystal eyed guy. No he dont
look like Edward Cullen, if he is, i wouldnt be his best friend. Like what my girl friends said, he is way hotter
than that guy from twilight. And that is how i get the girls starign at me everytime im close to him, he is
Zimmy Russ.
Ive been friends with Zimmy for more then four years. People said im crazy that im not falling for him.
Oh god, i feel so alienatic when people ask me that kin dof question. I keep on denying, till one day,
i dont know what got into me, out of the blue, i admit to myself that i have a crush on him, well kind of.
And it all started when this camping thingy organised by my cousin, rachel.
As always, Mr Alec, the class adivor was leturing us about most of us skipping school. So i texted rachel.
Evyyana "Kill me, im bored!"
Rachel "LOL! Mr alec?"
Evyyana "You got it, so what's up?"
Rachel "Planning a camping trip for our next cousin gathering?"
As i was about to reply, best friend threw a paper to me. The note says "Help! Im bored!". Not
having the guts to have another detension by Mr Alec, i ignore Zimmy and continue with my conversation
with Rachel.
Evyyana "Oh wow, sound awesome! Might having a new member?"
Rachel "You got a new date?! OMG! Who is it?! Tell me girl!"
Evyyana "Stop it bitch, im talking about my best friend dumb"
Rachel "Oh that Mr Edward? Sure thing honey"
*RING!*
Suddenly Zimmy shouted "Finally! The bell!" I look at Zimmy and he gave me that winky eyes.
Here we go, to the mall instead of staying school for lunch and definately not to Mr Alec's next class.
Evyyana "Beep you again soon Rach, gtg"
Zimmy grab my hand and pull me out of class and jump in to his awesome ride. And off to the Snack bar.
Evyyana "So my cousins having a new outting"
Zimmy "Where to this time?"
Evyyana "Camping?"
Zimmy "HAHA! All the best Evy,all the best"
Evyyana "All the best? I told my cousin youre coming, so you got to come no matter what!"
Zimmy "Gosh Evy, youre always doing this to me"
Looking at Zimmy with an attitude and he added
Zimmy "Thats why i love my best friend"
Hearing that 3 words coming out from him. Oh god! Not only butterflies in my tummy, i feel like there's a lion
roaring in me. I acted normally and as soon as we're done with our meal and our "Shopping spree" is done,he
drove me home and i went screaming in my room. I know, im weird, i could bare with that scream trying to
yell out of me. Shall i skip till the camping part? Maybe i should.
Rachel "Where are you?! Look t the time now! Dont you dare to tell me youre still at home"
Evyyana "I dont want to, but i have to, im waiting for pretty boy to coe fecth me"
Rachel "OMG! Okay fine, i see you at our camp site alright?"
Evyyana "Alright, see you during the camp fire then"
Looking at the time, it was already half pass 6. Missing all those trekking, so much of an adventerous camp.
And as soon as i said that, Pretty boy horned.
Evyyana "Oh wow its still bright!"
Zimmy "HAHA! Im sorry Evy, i overslept"
Evyyana "Called you, try to, but still not awake"
Zimmy "Well, you know me, im a heavy sleeper"
Not wanting to waste time no more, we drove off.
Nolen "Hey guys look! Its the superstar, Evyyana Isabella!"
I looked at Zimmy and thank him that, for his late i got the blame and labeled as as "Superstar".
Rachel "Oh my god Evy! Youre just in time for the camp fire!"
Evyyana "My bad, pretty boy had an incdent"
Zimmy "HAHA! I apologise for Evy's late attendance"
Rachel "What can i say? Youre still her best friend"
Evyyana "Well, Zimmy this is Rachel, Rachel this is the pretty boy im always talking bout"
Rachel "Nice to meet you Zimmy"
Zimmy "Nice to meet you too" saying with a big pleasent smile.
Having that thing call jealousy crawling up on me. But who cares, Zimmy's my best friend and Rach my cousin.
What can go wrong, right?
Zimmy "So Rach, what are you doing for life?"
Rachel "Im an art student in Fine Art High school"
Zimmy "Impressive"
Rachel "Inspired by Evy"
Zimmy "Wow Evy, wow"
Evyyana "What can i say? People depand on me"
Zimmy "So Rachel.."
Rachel " Zimmy, you can call me Rach"
Zimmy "Alright, so Rach, why do you organise this camp? You like to camp?"
And so they talk and talk, and i got kind of pissed off. So i went in my tent and got myself a power nap
bofore we head for our night walk. Which i didnt expect it to be worst than the camp fire, well it does.
We were climbing this little steps when suddenly Rach shouted and almost fell down the steep steps.
Zimmy did the hero thing. Ran up to her and catch her before she hitsthe ground. Wellyou guess it, he did
that eye contact with Rachel. Rachel feeling umcomfortable and decide to cancle off the night walk. We head
back to our camp site and as i was about to settle down, Rachel and Nenny went it.
Nenny "You alright Evy?"
Evyyana "Huhh?"
Nenny "Come on Evy, you dont have to pretend"
Evyyana "Huhh?!"
Rachel "Its about Zimmy"
Evyyana "What with him?"
Nenny "He's been trying to have a flirting session with Rach, cant you see?!"
Evyyana "Chilax, its obvious, im not dumb, so its an issue?"
Rachel "To me it is, Evy you told me you like him, im your cousin so im not going to.."
Evyyana "So what's that got to do with you being my cousin?"
Nenny "We dont want to see you in pain"
Evyyana "Because of Zimmy liking Rach? Common girls, no pressure"
Rachl "Seriously Evy, i know it burns inside you"
Evyyana "No it isnt"
Nenny "Damn it Evy, why must you be so harsh to yourself?! Admit it!"
Evyyana "What? Hell no, im alright, seriously"
Rachel "Whatever it is, i wont entertain that pretty boy, and i want you to confess to him tomorrow!"
Evyyana "Girls, please.."
Nenny "Honey, stop whatever yuore trying to do okay, if he hurts you let me know, i shall help you out"
Evyyana "What?"
Nenny "Okay Rach im done talking to her"
Rachel "Evy, what we are tryng to say is, we want to see you happy, thats all"
Leaving me alone in the tent, i kept thinking. Yes i like Zimmy, but he's my best friend. And If i try
to confess to him, what if he wont accept it? This will change, and i dont think i am going to be
Zimmy's best friend no more. I rather stay best friend with Zimmy and let him love whoever he wants.
The sun ray shines into my tent. That is went i decided to get up from my sleep. Everyone's with their big
bagpack all packed up. And yes, i forget that today was the day we went up the hill to have a new camp site.
I panicly pack everything and join them. With no breakfast and climb that steep hill, seriously its a killer.
On the way up there, i saw Zimmy was flirting with Rachel again. Well i can tdeny, they look happy together
though. I kept it positive by thinking that what makes Zimmy happy, i have to be happy for him. Finally
Nolen and Ryan found a nice place to set up came. I exhale happily and settle there unpack and had our dinner.
Zimmy "Hey Rach, could i talk to with in private?"
Rachel "Sure?" Looking at me misteriously
They went up in the woods where i reallt cant see eventhough i tried my best to peek. In my mind, i was thinking
how it would like to have your best friend and your cousin as a couple. Oh my god, i cant even imagine. I got up,
took out my sleeping bag and went it to Sheila's and Nolen tent to sleep.
Zimmy "Wake up lazy head wake up"
Evyyana "Youre early today? Whats got into you Zimmy!"
Zimmy "Come i want to show you something"
Evyyana "No thanks"
Zimmy"Come on girl! Come on!"
With no other choice, i drag myself out from my tent listening to others snoring, i was really cursing
Zimmy deep inside me. There i saw a picnic.
Evyyana "Whats this?"
Zimmy "A picnic?"
Evyyana "Come on, you can drag Rach instead Zimmy"
Zimmy "Why would i?"
Evyyana "Zimmy im your best friend, i know you"
Zimmy "Well, it seems that you dont know me well Evy"
Evyyana "What? No, i know you too well"
Zimmy "HAHA! you have always make me laugh when im down"
Evyyana "So im a clown to you, well thank you very much"
Zimmy "A cute clown?"
Evyyana "Okay, why are you all mushy?"
Zimmy " Just look at the Sunrise will you?"
Well actually, i am so excited that he said that im cute! I try not to fall for him deeper, how knows, he did this
maybe because i wants to talk to me about Rachel? You know, win my heart in talking bout her to him.
Evyyana "Oh! mashed potatoes! Where the hell di dyou get this up here?"
Zimmy "Magic"
Evyyana "What the? What ever it is, i thank you for bringing this here"
I was about to dig in, Zimmy pulled the can of mashed potatoes from my hand and said
Zimmy "This is mine, the one in the black bag is yours"
Evyyana "Its the same, gimme that!"
Zimmy "Sorry , i already start eating this, you have to eat that one instead"
Without having any thoughts in mind why is Zimy all fishy with the mashed potatoes, i grab it and start
to eat it all up. Half way in getting m tummy full, i notice that i bite something. Its a note saying
"Evyyana Isabella was such a nice best friend to have for 4 years, almost 5 yeras now to be exact. I have
been keeping a secret from her, and i think it is now to let her know, and i know this is the right time too".
Confusion, i see question marks flying around me, i got no clue from that note.
Zimmy "Evy look at me"
Evyyana "Whats this?"
Zimmy "I have been keeping something from you"
Evyyana "What is it?"
Zimmy "I dont know if you would accept what im going to say.."
Evyyana "Tell me already!"
Zimmy hold my hands, look me in the eyes and say "Youre such a great girl Evy. I spent time with you too
much that i suddenly notice that this is not how best friend should"
Zimmy "Evyyana, i want to end this friendship with you. Im done having you as a friend, i cant take it
any longer, it kills me"
I was mad, very very mad, how could he end our friendship just like that?! Oh god! Just because he now
knows about Rachel's existance, doesnt mean he have to end our friendship!
Evyyana "But why Zimmy? Why?! Why do you have to do this?"
Zimmy "Im sorry Evy, ive found a girl i li.."
Evyyana "How could you? Well since we are not going to be friends, i got something to say to"
Zimmy "Shhhhhhh, you'll wake everyone else"
Evyyana "I dont care anymore Zimmy, i cant lie to myself, i like you, very very much. In fact i got i crush on you"
Zimmy "Evy.." saying that with a smile
Evyyana "Since youre doing this to me.."
Zimmy "Evy, Shhhhh! You have not read the letter fully"
Evyyana "There i snothing moreto read Zimm.."
Zimmy "I'll read it out loud for you"
Zimmy "The reason why i stayed single wasnt because of you being single too. The real reason was i want to be
yours one day."
Evyyana "What? Oh my.."
Zimmy "Now that i know you have the same feeling, it kind of boost up my confident to say.."
Rachel and Nolen "Go Zimmy"
Looking at them clueless. And Zimmy continue on
"You made me fall for you you, you get prettier in my eyes, each time i see you"
Nenny "Oh please, get it done with Zimmy!"
Zimmy "I want you to be mine and only mine, forever Evy"
Evyyana "Oh my god, Zimmy, is this for real?"
Zimmy "Will you accept me to be your best boyfriend ever?"
Evyyana "Yes! Yes! Definately yes!"
Miracle? No, this is what i call a worth for a very long wait. As i hugged Zimmy i heard applause and
Someone shouted
"OMG! Is that tears rolling down Evy's Cheeck?!"
Rachel "IT IS!"
Nenny "Girl youre crying!
Zimmy "Tears of joy, right baby?"
Zimmy keeps on smiling to me and kissed my on my forehead.
Zimmy "Baby, i know how much you hate to cry for a guy, i promise cant promise you that.."
Evyyana "What?"
Zimmy "Because i now there will be plenty tears of joy when youre with me, i love you Evy"
Evyyana "I love you too"
And so Rachel pretended that she knows nothing, so as the rest, wonderful cousins i got. I am now happily
married to Zimmy Russ with 2 healthy twin babies, a boy and a girl, named Andy Russ and Ixora Russ. They
are now 2 years of age, im happy with Zimmy as my husband for 2 years, and tears of joy never fails to appear.
